Let the Games Begin

When I studied for the BCBA exam, I did a lot of the same as what you guys did – reading, attending zooms, etc. While it was VERY effective (and yes kids — you should still do this!!!), I thought “how could I make slaving my life for this god forsaken exam…actually kinda fun? Not just for me, but for other people doing the same thing?”
Then…boom. I created these Jeopardy-style games and hosted them for 5 consecutive days on Zoom. The way that they were structured was similar to Jeopardy — except with 5 topics, 5 questions each. It was fast paced and we mixed and varied our topics. I pulled topics from the task list, and then for the “final jeopardy” we had a scenario that we dissected. I had a lot of fun, the participants had fun, and we learned a ton!
The girls of Rogue sat and observed one of them and loved it. So guess what? Rogue ABA is offering what’s called the Rogue Review-a game show styled study session.
What is Rogue Review?

It’s very similar to the games that I hosted previously, except:

  • Instead of 5 topics, I’ll be covering 7 per game.
  • Still 5 questions per topic, but with the 7 topics, there’s 35 TOTAL questions (instead of 25).
  • There will be a 20 person cap — which makes it more intimate. (However if more people sign up, there will be more days added!).
  • The final topics will cover multiple areas of the task list.

It’s $12/game, but get this — just $50 gets you participation to 5 games! A $10 savings — that pays for a celebratory drink, and trust me, you’ll need one of five after sitting for that exam.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s have some fun and do the Rogue Review. You won’t wanna miss out!
All My Love,

Michelle
